Warranty

Crown Skis are warranted for one year from date of shipment against manufacturer defects. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to any other person.

If a product is found to be defective by Crown Skis, in its sole discretion, Crown Skis Ltd's only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product, or reimbursement of the purchase price. Except as provided in this warranty, Crown will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages whether to persons or property incurred as a result of loss or use of product, or damages incurred in shipping.


This warranty is subject to the following limitations in addition to any implied conditions as to the quality of the goods implied by law:

 

  • Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following (but not limited to):
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect.
    • Damage caused from chairlift breakage
    • Damage caused by impact with any surface or object other than snow (rocks, trees, stumps, rails, etc...)
    • Peeling, chipping, scratching, or any indentations in topsheet due to impact with any surface or object other than snow
    • Damage caused by improper mounting or adjustment of the bindings including binding mountings pulling out of the ski due to excessive DIN setting
    • Base damage due to impact with any surface or object other than snow
    • Graphic fading or discoloring due to improper storage and use
    • Any and all claims for consequential or incidental damages
    • Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship.
    • Damage caused by use of solvents or adhesives.
  • Ship products freight prepaid and insured. Crown Skis assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to our workshop. Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • All coverage under this warranty is void if any modification, change or alteration has been made to the product that is not specifically performed by Crown Skis or authorized by Crown Skis.
  • Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty only.
  • All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original online order or purchase receipt.
  • Crown Skis product is not covered by any verbal warranties. In all cases this warranty policy will take precedence. Crown Skis reserves the right to make any changes to this warranty without prior notice.


BASIC GUIDELINES

 

Covered

  • Structural cracks on fiberglass, topsheet, base, core, edge, and sidewall.
  • Lamination failure of top sheet, base, sidewall, edge.

Not Covered

  • Any problem resulting from misuse, abuse, impact or neglect.
  • Cosmetic issues including discolored graphics, topsheet dents or chips, edge oxidation (rust).
  • Ski damage resulting from improper mounting of bindings; the use of incorrect mounting technique or hardware.
  • Damage caused by any ski modifications not performed by Crown Skis unless otherwise authorized by Crown Skis.
